How it works for organizations that don't want to
maintain their own networks or don't have an on-staff IT person...
- A small piece of software called an on-site manager is
installed on a server in your network, sometimes a workstation
if your network is smaller than 10 devices.
- The on-site manager collects data from devices on your
network every 5 minutes.
- Data is forwarded to our Central Dashboard where we can
easily monitor the health and other important security and
performance information.
- Devices are collected into groups and we associate them with
a best practices template for that device. We can monitor WMI,
SNMP and Syslog events.
- If a device falls outside what is defined as normal by our
template, an alert will then be e-mailed to our technicians for
action and remediation.
